We’re a bunch of mixed nuts
I’m dredging a few more pictures out of my archive of old pictures — these date back to December of 2003 (aka my point-and-shoot-and-I-didn’t-know-what-I-was-doing days.) I took these at Pike Place Market when I was up visiting my family for Christmas. I enjoy visiting the market pretty much at any time of year, but there’s something fun about going there around Christmas, when everyone’s rushing around shopping and everything smells so good and it’s rainy and nippy chilly. I love it. :-)
I’m posting these because I actually look at them daily — not too long after I took them, I had them printed and framed (just 4×6, nothing big), and they’ve been hanging on the walls of my various kitchens ever since. I have other food pictures I’ve taken printed, and one of these days I’m going to get around to finding matching frames and hanging them up on my kitchen walls as well.

I love the vibrancy of this one. I promise it really looked like this--this was my pre-Photoshop days.

too bad you didn't also get the sign with the carrots that says, "Don't even think of touching this display!"
